Pam Mace
Pam is a lifelong artist who draws inspiration from her beautiful surroundings. Pam’s artwork bursts with life, much like her personality—bold, expressive, and deeply connected to the world around her. With a zest for living and creating, Pam proves that age is no limit to passion, purpose, or artistic flair. She works in a variety of mediums such as oils, watercolour, acrylic, Gouache and charcoal, and enjoys experimenting with different techniques. Pam remains actively engaged with the creative community, often participating in local exhibitions. Her work reflects both her experience and her connection to the natural world, and she continues to produce with the same focus and enthusiasm that have defined her life.
All my life I have enjoyed painting and drawing and looking at other people’s art. And now, since my husband died, I find myself painting much more. I live in Sussex where we have a wonderful variety of landscape. But I enjoy travelling and I get inspiration from things around me. I only paint people and things I see and know well. But sometimes I change them a bit. I have tried different media but now I prefer oil or sometimes acrylic. I was trained as a textile designer, but unfortunately had little opportunity to explore this. So I turned to landscapes and people. There is nothing better than spending time painting. – Pam Mace
